This course aims to equip students with broad foundational knowledge of current research and technology trends in the photonics. The student will learn basic physical concepts and the working principles of various cornerstone nanophotonic devices, in addition to methods to describe and analyse their operation. The course is intended for those wishing to pursue careers in research, development, or engineering roles in nanophotonics fields such as integrated optics, optoelectronics, and photonics-based industries.
