The course aims to provide Year 4 electrical and electronic undergraduates with a strong foundation in design methodologies of transistor-based analog circuits. The fundamental theoretical and design knowledge will allow them to design any advanced analog circuits based on the basic circuit blocks covered in the course.
Contents: Low noise circuits. Wide-bandwidth amplifiers. Power amplifiers. Active filters. DC-DC converters.
