This course covers introductory material on PDEs, FEM and CFD and is arranged in three parts. The first part covers classification of PDEs and typical analytical methods for solving them. The second part covers basic finite element concepts and typical applications in solid mechanics. The third part covers basic concepts in CFD with a focus on finite volume methods.
