In this course, you will learn how robots perceive and make sense of the world through sensors. You will explore the fundamental principles behind common sensors used in robotics, such as proximity, motion, vision and environmental sensors. You will learn about how sensors? signals are being processed to support robot control and decision-making.
This course is designed for Robotics students who want to build a strong foundation in sensing and measurement before advancing to higher-level modules in mechatronics, perception, and autonomous systems. By learning how to select, integrate and interpret sensor data, you will gain essential skills that are highly valued in robotics, automation and intelligent systems industries.
