The focus of this course is on theory, research and practices in sport and exercise psychology. This course includes an overview of varied psychology topics (e.g., individual differences/personality, social influence and group dynamics, diversity issues, and applied psychological skills). The main focus is to understand major theories and research as well as applying those theories and research findings to diverse sport and exercise settings. In addition, the development and evaluation of basic psychological skills training programmes will be introduced.
