Generative Artificial Intelligence Advanced Topics
Current offering — AY2025/2026 Semester 2
The course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of generative AI, exposure to cutting-edge research and developments in leading industry, and hands-on experience with practical skills. You will learn the fundamental concepts, techniques, and algorithms of generative AI, including Transformers, large language models like ChatGPT, scaling laws, diffusion models, multi-modality generative AI techniques, as well as cutting-edge research and developments in leading industry. You will be equipped with critical ability to formulate real-world problems into a generative AI setting, and you will develop essential skills to evaluate, select, and implement appropriate generative AI algorithms for specific problems.
