This is an introductory course on materials and manufacturing processes, with a focus on nanoscale materials as well as novel and sustainable materials. The aims of the course are to support students in:
- Relating molecular structure of materials to its properties, functions and applications.
- Understanding the evolution and rationale behind processing methods to produce novel and sustainable materials.
