Materials Manufacturing

This is an introductory course on materials and manufacturing processes for the different groups of materials. The aims of the course are to support students in: 1. Relating atomic, molecular and microstructural features to the properties of engineering materials such as metals & alloys, ceramics, polymers and composites. 2. Understanding the evolution of manufacturing processes to shape engineering components.
