Sport Marketing Sponsorship

The course on sport marketing and sponsorship investigates the nature of sport products and the motivations of sport consumers. The sport consumer types are identified and their behaviour discussed. The essentials of marketing will be taught and related to sport. Students of the course will be given opportunity to work on a sport marketing project to appreciate and reinforce the complexity and dynamics of sport marketing. Sponsorship issues and strategies will also be covered including the relationship of sponsors to the sport, platforms and benefits of sport sponsorships.
