This course focuses on the central questions of why, when, and how movements becomes coordinated over time by way of reflecting on current theories and research. In particular, the dynamical systems approach is adopted as the main theoretical paradigm. Topics related to complex systems, ecological psychology, degrees of freedom problem, perceptual-motor landscape, and specific practical strategies related to acquisition of skills will be covered.
