This is a comprehensive course that aims to build a solid foundation in machine learning for TAISP students. It emphasizes strong mathematical rigor in both the theory and applications of machine learning. Students will have the opportunity to study all the fundamental topics, as well as selected advanced areas. Importantly, the course places significant focus on developing essential knowledge, the underlying principles of machine learning, and the ways of thinking required in the fi eld, rather than concentrating solely on modern deep learning applications.
