This subject introduces how government and nonprofits interact to provide public services and influence society. Topics include the roles of government in a society, the roles of nonprofits in a society, the history of government and nonprofits, government failure, government-nonprofit cooperation, collaborative governance, and network theory. This course helps students understand that both government and nonprofits are equally important in maintaining the stability of a society.
