Filmmaking For The Commercial World

This module provides a comprehensive, hands-on exploration of how commercial videos are conceived, developed, and produced in professional environments. You will learn to translate client briefs into creative concepts, pitch compelling ideas, plan and execute commercial shoots, and deliver finished videos for corporate and brand use across multiple platforms.

Emphasis will be placed on real-world workflows used by production houses and agencies, from ideation and client pitching to post-production and finishing. The course also introduces the use of Generative AI tools and productivity AI tools in concept development, storyboarding, and production efficiency.

By the end of the semester, you will have developed a complete commercial or corporate video for an actual client.
