This course covers persuasive techniques used in speeches and presentations often delivered in professional contexts:

• Advanced Persuasive Speeches: exploring speeches and presentations that advance the goals of a business, governing body or organisation, requiring a higher level of craft and credibility than more personal speeches.
• Effective Crisis Management: persuading hostile audiences in challenging circumstances, using topical case studies as a guide.
• Impromptu Speaking At Work: successfully dealing with unplanned opportunities to speak in a professional environment. These opportunities include meetings, workshops, conferences and seminars.
