This course aims to enlighten you about the importance of studying biology and to deliver an unbiased view of the impact of biology on human society. You will study about various ecosystems such as rainforests and mangrove forests and the social and econonomical values they give to mankind. You will learn about some biological discoveries and innovations that are used in our society in the field of forensics and sports. You will learn about the potential benefits and threats that bio-technology, particularly genetic engineering, brings to mankind and the environment. You will learn about viruses that are harmful to man. You will learn the biology of our human body and bacteria that have benefited mankind in improving health and well-being.
