This unrestricted elective (UE) / Broadening Deepening Elective (BDE) is open to all undergraduate students who possess a proficiency in Arabic equivalent to LA5003. LA5004 aims to elevate your Arabic language skills to the A2.2 level (CEFR) through engaging and interactive classroom activities, including audio-visual materials and dynamic discussions. Utilizing a facilitation and learner-centric teaching approach, this course will further develop your Arabic language abilities at a lower-intermediate level, focusing on the four essential language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
By enhancing your understanding of both the Arabic language and culture through diverse classroom discussions and presentations, this course will prepare you for traveling, studying, and working in Arab countries. Additionally, learning Arabic will boost your employability in an increasingly globalized economy.
