World Cinema
Bollywood, Jackie Chan, Korean and Japanese Horror, the exportation of martial arts movies to "the West" - Asian film has seen a tremendous revival in the past few decades. By screening both recent blockbusters and experimental short films, this course aims to foster an awareness of the changing film industry in Asia. The material we shall be looking at will comprise both English-language productions and subtitled films or TV-shows from various parts of Asia.
