In this course, you will familiarise yourself with different phases of Asian-American literature. You will learn to situate these cultural productions both within the sociopolitical history of Asian America, as well as in broader literary conversations. Students interested in learning more about American society through Asian-American cultural productions should take this class. This course will equip you to plug into a modern economy characterized by globalization and transnational crossings between America and Asia.
