This course introduces students to a range of fundamental issues in the area of creative practices and new technologies. Students will examine various creative practices - advertising, drama and documentary production, and media campaigns - and their challenges and opportunities in developing content as well as activity using new technologies. Students will learn about specific technologies and the general technological trends which continue to shape the creative industries. Through hands-on experience with the various technologies, the course will focus on the role of technology in the creation of more effective and persuasive communications.
