Vietnamese Language Level

This course is designed for beginners with no previous knowledge of Vietnamese. It will develop the four skills of speaking, listening, writing and reading in Vietnamese in an integrated manner. Students will be introduced to the Vietnamese writing system as well as the pronunciation of alphabets and tones. Each lesson will cover pronunciation drills, conversational dialogues, and practice in vocabulary and grammar. Through a range of communicative activities, students will learn to carry out simple conversations on common topics related to their daily life. By the end of the course, they will develop some general understanding of the culture, customs and history of Vietnam.
