German Language Level

AY2015/2016 Semester 1

This is an introductory language course to provide students with a working knowledge of German and an introduction to the culture and geography of Germany. The course covers the basic language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Lessons are composed of individual and group work, role-play and simulation. By the end of the course, students should be able to write simple messages, extract information from written texts and communicate in basic German on everyday topics.
