Editorial Design
AY2017/2018 Semester 1
This course is intended to introduce students to the ability to develop their own physical publications such as books, brochures, catalogues, magazines, newspapers, and annual reports. These publications should convey the content message efficiently to their intended target audience. This course seeks to engage students in producing innovative publications and to address editorial design as a strategy that deals with multiple levels of information within and across single or several editions. Through a close analysis of specific case studies, as well as students own project development, visualization, prototyping and production, students will develop skills for conceptualizing and organizing meaningful and original communicative design structures.
