3D Character Animation II is a follow on from DT3001 Character Animation I and is designed to further the student's understanding of the principles of animation and expand their skill-set into more advanced acting and performance character animation. Students will be introduced to critical acting analysis and dialogue interpretation, as well as more complex animation scenarios such as multi character interactions. Practical facial animation approaches will be introduced and the understanding of advanced body mechanics will be deepened. An introduction to character acting, character building and personality creation will complement the course. Students will learn from examples in feature films and short films.
