This course aims to provide learners with the knowledge, skills, and applied competencies needed to an introductory but broad perspective of digital forensics supporting a wider incident response framework against evolving cyber threats. By adopting a flipped classroom model, the course ensures that:
- Learners gain flexibility to study theoretical concepts (e.g., key IR phases, various investigation process, digital evidence, etc) at their own pace through online lectures and curated readings.
- In-person sessions are dedicated to active learning, including hands-on labs, real-world case discussions, and project coaching.
- The Course Project simulates a consultancy-style forensic analyst, allowing learners to apply analysis and propose mitigation strategies in a team-based environment.
- The course builds both technical and professional skills: digital evidence handling, forensic analyse, critical analysis, teamwork, and communication.
