The aim of the Software Testing course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of software quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and modern testing practices used throughout the software development lifecycle. The course equips students with the knowledge and practical skills required to design, execute, and evaluate effective software testing solutions using both manual and automated approaches. Students will learn fundamental testing concepts, black-box and white-box testing techniques, test planning, defect management, and software quality evaluation methods. The course also introduces modern industry practices such as UI and API testing, automated testing frameworks, performance and stress testing, and AI-assisted testing approaches. Emphasis is placed on developing analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and practical hands-on experience using modern testing tools and frameworks. Furthermore, students will understand how software testing integrates with Agile and quality engineering practices to improve software reliability, maintainability, and user satisfaction. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply professional software testing techniques to ensure the quality, functionality, security, and performance of modern software systems.
