This course covers persuasive techniques used in speeches and presentations often delivered in professional contexts: 1. Effective Slide Design: developing creative, effectively conceived slides with minimal detail and an intuitive flow of information. 2. Advanced Persuasive Speeches: exploring speeches and presentations that advance the goals of a business, governing body or organisation, requiring a higher level of craft and credibility than more personal speeches. 3. Effective Crisis Management: persuading hostile audiences in challenging circumstances, using topical case studies as a guide. 4. Impromptu Speaking At Work: successfully dealing with unplanned opportunities to speak in a professional environment. These opportunities include meetings, workshops, conferences and seminars. 5. Business Pitches: developing original, interactive and effective presentations for the corporate world. These pitches include `Elevator Pitches? and more detailed presentations aimed at potential investors or collaborators.
