This course will highlight how the Bioimaging with electron microscopy can be used in solving various questions in life sciences The main focus of the course will be as following: 1. Introduction and history of the electron microscopes as an instrument. 2. Introduction of the state of the art instruments available. 3. Application of electron microscopy in various fields of life sciences 4. Computational biology to analyze EM images. 5. Image processing of electron micrographs to reconstruct 3D structures.
