The purpose of this subject is to explore the complexity of coaching at an elite level. Topics cover in this unit aim to help students acquire the knowledge and skill pertinent to the development of the elite athlete. Student will be required to attach themselves to an elite team and to a designated master coach in a sport of their choosing. Students will be encouraged to learn and work with the coach, with the aim of enhancing the quality of training sessions and improve athletes' performance.
