AY2014/2015 Semester 1
Physical activity is associated with multiple health benefits and enhanced quality of life. Sports participation across populations in the society is on the rise. Moreover, there has been a significant increase in number of adventure sports participants in recent times. The injury risks, patterns, principles of management and preventive strategies are different in each cohort. This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and the understanding of population-specific sports injuries and skills for primary management of injuries and preventive strategies.
