Statistics Measurement Evaluation

AY2015/2016 Semester 1

This course is designed to provide students with basic concepts of measurement and evaluation in sport science and management. In addition, the course will focus on fundamental concepts of statistics and the use of computers for data analysis. Accordingly, the module introduces students to measurement issues in the sport science and management contexts, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, the research process, the method of science, scientific investigation, the definition and evaluation of a research problem, hypothesis formation, and data collection.
