Through participation in projects involving real human issues, you will experience how the concepts, methods, and sensibilities of design can complement the knowledge, skills, and values of material science engineering to create innovative solutions to complex human problems that are dynamic, multi-perspectival, and multi-stable, and have no unique or determinate solution.
