AY2022/2023 Semester 1

The course aims to introduce you the importance of measurement and its relevance to industry. The detailed topics include the definition and importance of SI base units, mechanical metrology, surface metrology, coordinate metrology, laser and optical metrology. This course will train you the fundamental measurement principles as well as the instrumentation for the measurement. You will also experience the real industrial measurement applications through the case studies.
