Effective Communication

AY2021/2022 Semester 1

This is a foundation course with the aim to equip you (1st year students) with the required skills to communicate effectively in both academic and professional contexts. You will learn how to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences; how to use different writing techniques; how to write short reports; as well as how to make effective presentations in both academic and professional settings. Furthermore this foundation course will also prepare you for the more advanced Engineering Communication course that you will take in their year 3 or year 4 studies.
