AY2020/2021 Semester 2
You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the textual and theoretical issues raised in the course, and will develop appropriate analytical skills in the process. More specifically, this module teaches you the skills and vocabulary required to respond to an array of major European literary texts. You will learn how to analyze and evaluate a diverse range of literary forms and genres, relevant to the period. Special attention will be focused on the manner in which grand narratives are relativized and students will learnt to independently assess various competing arguments, whilst developing their research skills.
