Adapting The Classics

AY2019/2020 Semester 2

1. Introduction to the history and major themes of classical literature. 2. Examination and discussion of the implications of adapting classical texts. 3. Examination and discussion of the major adaptations of classical works. 4. Students will be expected to participate in class discussions. Each student will also write a literary analysis of about 1800 words related the materials assigned in class.
