Classical Chinese Literary Theory

This course examines the evolution of Chinese theories of literature and the arts in the classical periods. Through this course, you would learn a variety of issues about Chinese literature theory based on the philosophical foundations through readings of critical texts on poetics. After takingI this course, you will get an explicit connection of Chinese Literature, philography and history, which will help you to build a strong foundation for future academic research.
