This course aims to introduce you to the theoretical and practical foundations of policy analysis with a specific focus on socio-political analysis in the context of Singapore and internationally. The course is designed to develop understanding of 'what is the right thing to do' (core values in public policy) and 'how to do things right' (political feasibility). Policy analysis deals with societal problems the solutions to which cut across all disciplines. This course, therefore, will be useful to any students who are interested in learning how to approach analysis of socio-political issues and find feasible solutions.
