AY2014/2015 Semester 1
This course introduces the application of cost-benefit analysis to the study of public policy. Topics include: market failure and non-market failure, net present value analysis, resource allocation decisions in the public sector. This subject also introduces other criteria of philosophical and political analysis, such as rational and non-rational decision making, and the balance between economic and political concerns. The course is quantitative in nature.
