Introduction To Public Policy

This course provides an introductory overview of a policy making process, which includes policy goals and values, problem identification, public policies as solutions, policy actors competing for the best solution, decision making, policy implementation, and policy evaluation. This course is normative in nature, serving as the basis for other advanced public policy courses.
