This course will cover the key concepts for understanding coupled hum an a nd natural systems with two weeks spen t each on th e socia l sciences and na tural sciences. Next, integrative socio-ecological approaches will be explored, and students will consider th e strengths and weaknesses of these approaches. Lessons will be grounded in real-world case studies. Students will use interdi sciplinary approaches for their final projects.
