Wireless System Design

AY2014/2015 Semester 2

Students will be involved in the design of advanced receiver and transmitter sub-systems as well as radar system. It will include the analysis, design and simulation of these systems. Topics on transmitter, receiver, planar transmission lines, antennas, and radar system design will be studied. Analytical calculation of transmitter, receiver, antenna, and radar system performance will be carried out in terms of available closed-form design formulae. Realistic signal flow through various functional blocks of transmitter, receiver, and radar system will further be simulated, analyzed, designed and implemented using advanced software tools.
