Typography Iii
AY2015/2016 Semester 1
As the final in a series of three, Typography III encourages students to test the limits of typography through experimentation and personal expression. Consideration of the difference between readability and legibility are discussed while alternative and unconventional methods of creating typography are explored. Students develop skills for the creation of original type design solutions and challenge what typography is and could be. Students will design their own font prototypes with an emphasis on glyphs studies and individual experimentation.
