Product Design Iv
AY2014/2015 Semester 2
Recent technological advances allow for the integration and embedding of technology into many everyday objects and devices. This course looks at physical and digital devices and products and the closing gap between the two. A large part of this course is speculative, looking at what future trends in technology might be and what new needs society might develop. The course is designed to explore and understand the complexity of the human context and to encourage a human experiential attitude towards current digital technologies. The goal is to provide ideas, visions and design concepts that can help, through the use of technology, to improve the quality life in a targeted and product-centred manner.
