Moving Image For Still Photographers

AY2018/2019 Semester 1

The course provides an overview of video and sound recording, pre-production and post production techniques, and the development of linear and non-linear narratives. Students will be introduced to examples of video art. The relationship of still to moving image will be examined. Interspersed with technical workshops will be small creative/technical assignments the first half of the semester culminating in a final project due at the end of the semester.
