Professional Directions In Photography

This course will examine the practical and commercial realities of the life of a professional photographer. Contemporary trends in the art world and the photographic market place will be examined and students will learn practical skills and knowledge that will prepare them for the commercial and fine art market. Through case studies, workshops, exercises, field trips, and guest speakers, students will learn practical skills to prepare them for a career in photography.
