AY2015/2016 Semester 1

This is a studio oriented foundation workshop where students are introduced to the visual grammar that underpins the development and creation of three dimensional forms. Students will learn the essentials of how to use a workshop for the purposes of model making. Basic power tool and hand tool use is covered. Through a series of exercises and assignments, students are introduced to the core skills and vocabulary of the 3D design process: form, space, plane, structure, volume and relationships.
