Foundation D I
AY2014/2015 Semester 1
Abstracts such as shape, form, line, pattern, tone and colour are the prime building blocks upon which all 2D designs are built. In this course these elements are examined for the multiple ways in which they interact. Intention, research, ideation, sketching and reference are introduced to the students as key ideas in the development of a piece of work. Teaching is by project (group and individual) and critical analysis is encouraged both in the ongoing process and in the examination of the finished project.
