Painting

AY2015/2016 Semester 1

This course is a practice-based introduction to painting and will cover the preparation of various surfaces, how to mix colour, methods of application and basic control of materials and tools. The students will learn how a painting can be constructed from observation, reference, studies and imagination. This course would be suitable for illustrators, animators and anyone wishing to investigate the use and application of traditional painting media.
