This course is designed to help students: ? Explore and understand various areas of communication studies so that they are motivated to explore the sub-areas of communication studies further by taking upper level modules (Self-discipline & Competence) ? Identify and describe key concepts and ideas of communication studies ? Understand the impact of communications on their everyday lives (Ethical Reasoning & Integrity) ? Connect theoretical concepts of communication to real-life experiences and future careers (Creativity) ? Begin to understand and speak the language of the communication discipline (Communication Skills)
