This course builds on the basics of business law introduced in the common Year 1 course for business students, titled Business Law. Insurance Law discusses contract law from the insurance perspective, i.e. what is required to form an insurance contract, insurance contract wordings and their implications. Reinsurance contract wordings will also be covered. Insurance Law related claim management and solvency regulation are also discussed.
